Thermoelectric Cooling (TEC) TEC is dynamically controlled to maintain stable sensor temp. Quickly compensates for varying ambient temperatures Creates reproducible measuring results Long exposure times without induced thermal noise.
Key Features:
Highest resolution with large pixels and large sensor format: The SHR shines with up to 245 MP resolution when the task at hand requires uncompromising image quality.
Large pixels have many advantages when it comes to image quality in cameras, the physics here are clear. Some high-end tasks require the highest resolutions and impeccable image quality, which cannot be achieved without correspondingly large pixels for the optimum transfer function. This also applies to the highest resolutions. Tasks made for the SHR series.
Large sensors require special care in the camera to ensure a homogeneous image. Shading correction for demanding optical tasks and user-defined defect pixel correction ensure outstanding linearity, homogeneity and low noise.
We connect CMOS sensors in this category with the most powerful interfaces in order to make full use of the sensor’s high data rates. All cameras in the SHR series offer extensive I/O functions with sequencer and integrated strobe controller.

High structural precision in sensor alignment and housing ensures precise image reproduction and a secure hold for the camera mount, adapter and lenses. The medium-format SHR is equipped with a standardized M72 thread and can therefore be used with a wide range of lenses and adapter rings. Thanks to the short flange distance of 19.55 mm, the highest quality lens systems can be individually adapted for almost any task.

The FXO series combines the outstanding image quality of the Sony Pregius S sensor with state-of-the-art, fast interfaces. 10GigE, 25GigE and CoaXPress-12 are supported. The integrated strobe controller facilitates the construction of very slim applications.
The Pregius S sensor from Sony with global shutter shines with outstanding image quality and is the heart of the FXO series. The 2.74 µm – 9 µm pixel has a high light sensitivity combined with very low noise. The excellent homogeneity and dynamic range of the image set standards.
An elaborately milled housing for each sensor provides the optimum temperature distribution for this high-performance sensor. The FXO combines the outstanding sensor with the fastest interfaces in the machine vision sector.
With its excellent image, fast interfaces, versatile inputs and an integrated multichannel strobe controller, the FXO offers an extremely flexible, powerful and economical camera concept. The small pixel enables more favorable lenses for the high resolutions.
The FXO series with CXP interface is available in versions with one or two CoaXPress-12 connections. This enables the FXO to achieve data rates of 12.5 or 25 Gbit/s.
The FXO 10GigE offers resolutions of up to 24.5 MP and frame rates of up to 124 fps.
Brand new and incredibly fast: the FXO 25GigE delivers up to 671 fps with a resolution of 1.8 MP.
The highest demands on image quality and data rate are the field of application of the FXO. The small pixels allow a high resolution in the application despite the small design and the use of inexpensive lenses.
The integrated GenICam strobe controller effectively saves costs by reducing the number of components. In plant engineering, the fast FXO scores with the latest sensor technology, the extended temperature range and many I/O interfaces.
