Offering higher resolution sensors and substantially more processing power than its immediate predecessor, Matrox Iris GTX provides exceptional performance for a compact all-in-one vision system. Paired with flowchart-based Matrox Design Assistant® X1 software, engineers and technicians can quickly configure and deploy machine vision to the Matrox Iris GTX smart cameras. Video capture, analysis, classification, location, measurement, reading, verification, communication, and I/O operations—as well as a web-based operator interface—are all set up within the same software. With a resolution of 47 MP 5.5µm pixels and global shutter, the SHR features a low-noise half-frame CCD multi-tap sensor that is in a class of its own. State-of-the-art tap sensor balancing and the highest structural precision of the sensor adjustment in a massive housing make the SHR with its lens shading correction the ideal partner for the most demanding optical applications.
The SHR Camera Link fits seamlessly into existing Camera Link based infrastructures. The possibilities offered by Camera Link also permit features that are not feasible with other types of interfaces.
Camera Link specific features
EXO Camera Link models let you maintain the existing and proven infrastructure for years to come, while making use of the newest range of image sensors. The serialized interface has gained wide popularity and acceptance thanks to its high bandwidth. The EXO series was the first Camera Link model to include features such as 4IO strobe controller and LUT.
When the machinery does not need to be connected directly to the camera the ECO series is also available in PoE (Power over Ethernet) Versions. This simplifies the installation as there is only need for a single cable.
