Matrox® Iris GTX is the next evolution of smart cameras from Matrox Imaging. Offering higher resolution sensors and substantially more processing power than its immediate predecessor, Matrox Iris GTX provides exceptional performance for a compact all-in-one vision system. Paired with flowchart-based Matrox Design Assistant® X1 software, engineers and technicians can quickly configure and deploy machine vision to the Matrox Iris GTX smart cameras. Video capture, analysis, classification, location, measurement, reading, verification, communication, and I/O operations—as well as a web-based operator interface—are all set up within the same software. The FXO stands for excellent image quality. The fast CoaXPress-12 interface gives the camera outstanding properties in terms of trigger latency and constant data rate.
An excellent, low-noise image with high dynamics is complemented by a comprehensive feature set. The Sony Pregius S sensors used are characterized by high light sensitivity and best homogeneity. Signal voltages, temperature resistance, I/O control, integrated strobe controller and firmware features are geared towards applications in demanding industrial automation.

The fast CoaXPress-12 interface provides outstanding performance in terms of ultra-low trigger latency, faster frame rate and constant data rate. The 10GigE interface option is an economical, highly stable alternative with advantages for long data lines up to 100m. Sony Pregius UV sensors combine high resolution, high dynamic range and superior sensitivity in the wavelength range of 200 – 400 nm.
