16 new industrial and board-level cameras have been added to The Imaging Source’s USB 3.1 (gen. 1) family. The cameras, available as color and monochrome variants, feature Sony’s latest Pregius global-shutter CMOS sensors: 5 MP (IMX250/IMX264) and 3.1 MP (IMX252/IMX265). These high-performance, back-illuminated sensors are extremely sensitive and outperform their CCD predecessors in every way. The full-feature IMX 250 and IMX252 sensors deliver 75 fps (max.) and 119 fps (max.) – with the cost-optimized IMX264/IMX265 sensors achieving 38 fps (max.) and 60 (max.) fps respectively. Excellent color fidelity and image quality are the hallmarks of these sensors which make them well-suited for numerous machine vision tasks in production, inspection, quality assurance and ITS. USB Vision compliance and Type-C port ensure straightforward integration in applications adhering to the standard.
